Nace, pastor of several Pennsylvania churches for 41 years, died Monday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret E.S. (Frutchey) Nace. Dr. Nace, 74, of 2145 W.

Livingston Allentown, was pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay, for 11 years before retiring in 1971. He previously was pastor of St. Paul's Church of Christ, Selinsgrove, Snyder County, for 15 years and pastor of Christ UCC, Jim Thorpe, for 15 years, He became pastor emeritus of Trinity in 1972. Born in Johnsonville, he was a son of 1 the late Mr. and Mrs.

Samuel Nace. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Allentown. He was a graduate of Ursinus College, Collegeville, and the Theological Seminary of Dayton, Ohio. Surviving with his widow is a brother, the Rev. Horton Nace of Penny Farms, Fla.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Faith UCC, Allentown. A calling hour will precede services in the church. The J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, is in charge of arrangements.

Bennett services Services for Frank S. Bennett, 81, of 126 N. 4th Lehighton, chairman of the Lehighton Zoning Board and a former borough councilman, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lamont H. Zimmerman Funeral Home, 215 S.

3rd Lehighton. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. He died Sunday in the Gnaden Huetten Convalescent and Nursing Center, Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Koons) Bennett.

He was a passenger conductor and brakeman for the former Lehigh Valley Railroad before retiring after 50 years' service. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Lehighton. Bennett was a past master of Lodge 108, Towanda. Dever, former hotel owner John R. "Jack" Dever, 63, of 418, Center Jim Thorpe, died Monday in Coaldale Hospital. He was the husband of Rita (Love) Dever. They owned and operated the former Dever's Hotel, Jim Thorpe. Born in Jim Thorpe, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Roos) Dever.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Surviving with his widow a are two daughters, Rita, wife of John Engler of Morristown, N.J., and Jane, wife of Charles McHugh of Jim Thorpe; a son, Jack Jr. of Jim Thorpe; a sister Lorraine, wife of Dr. Joseph Dougherty of Coaldale, and eight grandchildren.

Thursday. Edward R. Hoffman Edward Robert Hoffman, 60, of Sanford, formerly of the Evergreen Campsite, Point Phillip, died Saturday in Semannall Memorial Hospital, Sanford. He was the husband of Lorraine (Davies) Hoffman. He was a manager of the Allen Garden Allentown, before retiring in 1976.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Robert and Catherine (Heckman) Hoffman. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. Catasauqua. Surviving with his widow are a daughter Darlene, wife of Edward Fix of Catasauqua; two sons, Gary of Bethlehem and Ronald of Port Salarmo, a brother Robert of Wescosville: seven children and a great-grandchild.
