He was the husband of the late Ann (Ritter) Trenge. He coowned and operated with his brothers the former Trenge's Cafe, 7th and Chew streets, Allentown, from 1945-83. Trenge also was a sheet metal worker for Mack Trucks Allentown, for 30 years until retiring in 1970. Born in West Bangor, he was a son of the late Gaetano and Theresa (Gatt) Trenge.

Friday. Harold F. Benfield Harold F. Benfield, 84, of Mill Hill Road, Milford Township, died Monday in Quakertown Community Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Headman) Benfield.

He owned and operated with his brother C.E. Benfield Flour and Feed Mill, Perkasie, for 20 years until retiring in 1978. He began there when he was a youth, having worked for his father. Born in Huffs Church, he was a son of the late Claude E. and Mary (Reinert) Benfield.

He was a member of East Swamp Mennonite Church and a former treasurer of its building fund. He also served on various church committees. Survivors: Daughters, Florence, wife of Harold Dietz of Quakertown, and Barbara of Bethlehem; brother Leroy of Perkasie; sisters, Florence Fretz of Sellersville and Ruth Myers of Silverdale; foster son, Dan Maybie of Trout Run, Lycoming County, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday in the church.
