Cobra Kai: Ralph Macchio stars in action-packed trailer
Cobra Kai is on Netflix now and the popular martial arts series follows a much older Daniel LaRusso (played by Ralph Maccio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). In the sequel, Johnny has an estranged teenage son called Robby Keene, and Daniel starts teaching him martial arts. Robby Keene is a 16-year-old who drops out of school after getting caught up in drugs and mixing with the wrong crowd.
He starts working at LaRusso Auto Group, which is run by his dad's nemesis, Daniel LaRusso.
However, when Daniel finds out the truth about Robby's relationship with Johnny, he bans the teen from working there.
Instead, Daniel becomes Robby's sensei and starts teaching him martial arts to spite Johnny.
Robby ends up moving in with the LaRusso family after his mother left with her boyfriend.

Robby has numerous run-ins with his dad's martial arts student Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña).
The character Robby is played by Tanner Buchanan, a 21-year-old actor from Ohio.
The star is best known for his roles in the ABC drama Designated Survivor, and he also starred in Game Shakers.
His first appearance was in the well-known comedy series Modern Family, in 2010.
He has also taken on roles in Grey's Anatomy, The Goldbergs and The Fosters, and he has taken on a new role in Sinister Education.

In 2018 he took on his Cobra Kai role, as the series originally aired on YouTube.
The star is on Instagram and he has been sharing plenty of content from Cobra Kai, including when he learnt a 540 kick.
Fans have been praising the star for his role in the series, with one saying on Instagram: "Just binged both seasons, brought back some 80’s nostalgia for me.
"But I like this show better than the original and you’re my favourite character #teamrobby."
He also shared a photo of himself with pretend facial injuries, saying: "Love getting to be beaten up on set."

In an interview with Hollywire, actor Buchanan spoke about the training he had to go through for season two.
He said he took part in taekwondo lessons when he was about 10 years old.
The actor also starred in a video alongside Cobra Kai co-star Mary Mouser, speaking about the making of Cobra Kai.
In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said: "It's extremely fun, we get the opportunity to come in and actually have fun.
"We have great stunt co-ordinators and they train us really well and they try to get us in there as much as possible."

He revealed most of the stunts were carried out by the cast, saying: "I'd say we probably do 85 percent of our stunts."
Fans have stood up for his character Robby on Twitter, as he is considered to be one of the antagonists.
One fan said: "I don't know why people hate Robby so much. He was abandoned by his mother and his dad [is] hardly in his life.
"He’s basically taking care of Miguel. Daniel took him in but sadly kicked him out because of Daniel and Johnny's rivalry. I feel bad for him. He didn’t mean to hurt Miguel. #CobraKai."
Another fan said: "What happened to Miguel wasn't all Robby's fault. That fight shouldn't have escalated period. #cobrakai."
