4-Day Paducah Itinerary (2024)

I enjoyed the experience because I haven’t been to a mall in a long time. I got to go to several stores that I haven’t been to in a minute, and the overall experience was great since I was there in Black Friday. The place was clean and the crowd was fine…not a bunch of rowdy people running around ruining shopping for everyone else.

As we all know, malls are struggling. This mall has some empty stores, but the ones that remain are solid, good stores. The food court is pretty good, but could use some more variety. But there again, the restaurants are solid and predictably good. I still like actually trying on clothes and seeing them before I buy, so I'm happy to go to the mall instead of ordering online. I enjoy spending the day having coffee, lunch and shopping....maybe a movie too.

It's not the mall is was years before. So many empty places for business makes me very sad. This place used to be awesome. It is still a good, clean place just not the mall I was used to going. Help bring in more stores and get this place back to the awesome mall of days of the past.

Very nice, clean, up-to-date mall. Lots of stores to shop til ya drop! JCPenny's, Bath & Body Works, Cato's, Dillards, Hallmark, Home Goods, etc. Benches for spouses!

Wide selection of stores. I went into JC Penny to find a belt. I easily found what I needed at a reasonable price. Then I walked around the store. It was very well laid out with alot of merchandise, more than I see at my hometown Penney's.

I took my Granddaughter for her 19th birthday, she enjoyed the high quality stores , she bought all kinds of fun items, she said stores have prices for all budgets!Food court had great food and very reasonable prices!We definitely will visit again, we live 75 miles away but well worth the drive 💙

People in Spencer's weren't super helpful but Bath and Body Works made up for the others unprofessional behavior. I'll be back when I go through that way again.

It's a nice mall, wish there was a Sbarro pizza place in the food court. They do have many name brand stores there as a bigger mall has. It's fun to do while you're trying to figure out what else to do or to kill time and just get away and window shop. Definitely going to be back around. This review is very long and thanks for reading it. It probably doesn't make sense but it is what it is.

It would have been nice to have had a sales associate to assist me with finding a formal dress for my son's wedding however I experienced a lack of support from anyone except the sweetest lady ever, she was probably 80, beautiful silver hair and she was what a great sales person should be! To bad she worked in men's wear which is actually caty corner and in 2 separate areas of the mall plus she was running another department. You should train others to have the same skills as this QUEEN! They sure don't make them like they used to.

So I went to Qdoba when I went here..it's a version of CA Chipotle...which I can only find in Jackson..the atmosphere was great I loved the sparrows on the wall ...the food was ok..the staff was friendly its a little pricey...the bathroom was really cool 😁

I love this mall. Been going here since 1991 and I have made many happy memories here. Mall is kept very clean and they have good stores. The toilets are nice too. Mall has been updated several times and looks modern.

I love Kentucky Oaks Mall!!! It is the cleanest Mall I have seen in a long time! It also has happy families walking all over the place, having a great time! Enjoyed it! Where we come from, people hardly ever go to the mall because of the crime, they are too afraid to go. This mall also has so many great stores I love it! I went shopping again and I bought sheets, curtains and decorative pillows.

Coming from somebody that lives in a small town, this mall is HUGE! I could have spent a whole day in there if I had the time & money lol. It’s a lot of culture & a good environment! We went to Spencer’s & a few other stores. Spencer’s was a blast but they’re so overpriced now it’s ridiculous. Definitely had fun & will be back soon tho!

Visited April 3. New menu. Prices seem reasonable. Ordered the French dip, wife had the brisket. Both were well cooked but bland. Even the Au Jus had no flavor. Buns seemed stale; broke with the meat. Fries were delicious. New owner, lots of changes. Please make the flavors more pronounced! Should be the reason to eat here!

The play area is great for little kids. They have a train ride inside also. It’s a great place to walk around and kill time or if you are looking for something you might find it!

This place is a far cry from what it was in the 90s and badly needs some better management and leadership. To start, I have been coming to this mall since the early 90s and things are night and day since then. First off, the place has become a hangout for teens in the afternoon/evenings, which is not a bad thing in and of itself, but they are not properly supervised. If I were managing the mall, I would restrict anyone in the mall under 18 unless they are actively with a parent/guardian. My kids were bullied by a group of older kids, a couple of whom they knew, and those kids had just been kicked out by security the week before. Somehow, they were just allowed to return. They were defacing mall property when I saw them, and I confronted them after they bullied my boys. I did report it to management the next morning. Second, I do some food delivery on the side occasionally, and a friend of mine convinced management to put takeout parking so we do not have to walk a half mile to pick up food. They did this for a time, but then removed them. My buddy said the property manager told him it was because people ran over the parking signs!!! I could not believe such a RIDICULOUS excuse!!! That does not get the handicap signs removed! Furthermore, the selection of stores has really declined over the years, but it does not seem this way at comparable malls around the area. Definitely could use some fresh faces with good leadership and new ideas in that office! And bring back the TO-GO PARKING!!

The mall was clean,workers were helpful n cheerful! The prices were outstanding cuz I got a few things on super duper sale so yeah,yall go n check it out! In Jesus name!

A very nice modern mall with a great selection of stores. The mall is in very good repair and it is very safe. I would highly recommend going to the mall. The kids area is very nice and the train ride around the mall is very cheap at three dollars a person. The mall has eight anchor stores and they are very successful.

I love the variety of stores this mall still has. We live over an hour away and travel here if we want to go to a good mall. It’s not too big and has what I need. There are several places to choose from to eat as well.

Definitely the most unique and beautiful welcome center in the entire country! Beautifully restored mansion from a long past era. A historic treasure. A tremendous amount of information available about local history and destinations. The attendants are outstanding; so helpful and knowledgeable. We did not know about this place until we (thankfully) took a wrong turn. Definitely a destination in itself. Can’t wait to return when we can plan a much longer stay.

This has been a regular stop for my family and I when we are passing through the area. The restrooms are always clean and stocked. There are vending machines and travel information. I highly recommend taking the tour of the house if you are able. The restoration is amazing. The grounds outside are very well kept and have lovely flowers seasonally.

I have been stopping at this Rest Area for over 30 years and this is the first time I have taken photos. This is a magnificent antebellum mansion built in the 1860’s by Edward Anderson. The day we stopped there were no tours available but the rest area was open and the facilities are always very clean.

This place is my favorite stop along my pet transport routes. I hope to visit one day during business hours so I can do the tour. Bring some cat food if you stop, Bless their sweet hearts, there is a feral colony that resides on the property.

A wonderful place to rest, stretch, picnic, walk the dog or sleep awhile. Clean restrooms and room for large rigs.Sadly, rest areas only allow you to stay 4 hours in this state but after a long day of driving I was very relieved to get permission from one of the attendants to park and sleep here for the night.Forever grateful !

This is hands down the nicest and cleanest rest area we have ever stopped at. Bathrooms were extremely clean and even had fresh flowers in there. There is a beautiful little garden to walk around through and a good variety of vending machines.

Beautiful area for a rest stop. Has vending and pop machines and is the Welcome center for Kentucky. Has a pet area to potty your dogs and walk around. There is a 4 hour limit on parking if you plan to sleep in your car.

Nice little cozy rest spot, and bathrooms were really clean!!! Definitely a must for me lol It's very peaceful in the morning!!

This was by far the coolest rest stop I've ever been to. Everything from the landscaping, the building itself to the bathrooms. If you're passing thru and need a place to stretch your legs, use the restroom, or walk your dog you must stop here. The bathrooms were very clean, there was a lot of literature, vending machines, and sitting areas outside.

An unexpected beautiful architectural rest stop, not kidding! Has alot of historical significance for the area. Clean and very interesting! I definitely stayed a while to look at everything, a must see in your travels-

Beautiful, well mantained historic building sitting on a hill overlooking beautiful scenery all around, super clean bathrooms, vending machines, tourist guides, and over all, nice staffs. One of the nicest rest stops I've been to.

Beautiful to look at and a lot of parking but the signage was difficult to understand. One saying restrooms inside, so I struggled up the brightly lit steps with no railings to the brightly lit main door with no hours posted anywhere but doors were locked. I made it back down and 3/4 around the building going clockwise before I found a door unlocked and the restrooms. With so many possible locations you need more accurate signage, especially after dark and since the main entrance is definitely NOT handicapped accessible but existing signs indicate that is where you are to go.

Beautiful reststop with a lot of history and a lot to see. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of stalls. The visitor center was well stocked on staff and information. It's truly a cool place to see. I wish we had more time to explore, but our plans didn't allow us that luxury.We only found this place because signs on westbound I-24 stated there was a rest stop on the exit. Little did we know that we had to go through several intersections and stop lights to get to it, on the other side of the freeway! Yes, you have to cross the freeway to get there and back when traveling west. Getting directed to a visitor center for a state that you are traveling out of was ridiculous and frustrating for the amount of effort you have to go through to get there from westbound.

Beautiful welcome center with lots of history. Place was super nice. We ate lunch outside on the tables and that was really nice. There were about 5 other families doing the same. Was nice to see other people picnicking out for lunch like we were and enjoying the weather.

This is a neat Welcome center and historic building. We were not planning to stop here, but at one of our stops in Illinois the travel assistant told us we should stop. Glad we did, made for a neat photo op for the family.

This place is gorgeous! My dream home. The house is attached to the welcome center. It is very picturesque. That was very welcoming for a Texan visiting. Come and visit and see the house and it's history.

Gem of the city. The welcome center is incredibly helpful, providing a wealth of information about the local area and attractions. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making sure all your questions are answered. Plus, the restrooms are exceptionally clean, which is always a plus. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

This was so worth the stop. How can you beat it. A 19th century old private home being used now as a welcome center? ! A former V.P. of the USA. Beautiful home and authentic furnishings.P. S. Look at the brochures in the lobby... There's a phone number for a personal tour of the Tilghman house!

Spend some time out of the car a take the tour. Supposedly there is a little girls spirit there, NOT a bad one. There is a photo on the wall of her but you cant see her face, arm,hands or legs??? Also meet a real HERO there he spotted and called in a terrorist who was caught thanks to his info. He also helped me with a minor car repair.Just stopped to use the restroom but ended up staying 2+ hrs.Thanks had a great time there.

Great resting place on the long travels. Spoke with the sweetest staff lady she is 84 & still working. We talked about the world events & technology. She reminded me of my grandmother. The vending machine had good coffee & clean restrooms.

Beautiful welcome center! Very informative. Amazing atmosphere with fresh flower arrangements. You can even tour the place.

their logo is neither a toad (its a red eyed tree frog?) nor purple which is strange and kinda disappointing lol, the wine tasting was cool and the lady was nice. there is a lot of outdoor seating which was very nice. highly recommend the black and bruised wine.

Purple Toad Black Peach is my favorite wine! I've never visited the winery in person but love shopping the website. My last order shipped really fast and arrived in a couple days. Everything is packed well so nothing breaks. I personally like sweet fruit wines (watermelon, strawberry, blackberry, pumpkin, etc) rather than grape varieties, so I like that they offer so many flavors. The tiny bottles are good for trying new flavors and are great for rounding out your order if you are just shy of the free shipping minimum. Website prices are less than my local liquor store, so I like ordering direct. Good quality wine and no problems ordering the couple times I've gotten a shipment. Highly recommend.

Going to Purple Toad Winery is always a wonderful experience. Their award winning Wines and relaxing atmosphere makes for a great day. The Apple Slushy is a perfect summer drink.

If you love sweet wines, this is the place that's worth a visit! Came here for free wine tasting and ended up buying 3 cases of wines to bring back home. Must try their famous Black & Bruised, Paducah Blue (most sweetest), Black Currant, Cranberry, and Cabernet Sauvignon (dry wine). I also came here during the Spring season and visited their 🍇 vineyard.

Great spot to try some new wines. If you like them sweet, make a bee line to get there.Nice venue, good selection and great staff.

I've been drinking purple toad for some time now. I order it online due to the availability near home. Visiting was wonderful. I am a white wine drinker so there isn't as much to choose but I like what there is. We had a great time. Our group loved the patriotism shown and the discount given to those w ho serve. Thank you! I will continue to order and maybe drive back for another visit.

This is the very best wine I've ever tasted. I like sweet wine and I love every single one of the flavors I've bought. My daughter loves the Cotton Candy, a 4 on the sweetness scale and I love all the rest. 😆

If i could score a zero stars I definitely would. I ordered 4 different bottles and their variety pack. My order came today. I got 5 bottle of the same black and bruised and one black currant. Called and spoke to the manager and she offered to send me what I ordered but I would have to ship the other back. Or I could pay for the bottles I received and she would still send me my order. It wasnt my mistake so why should I be inconvenienced and why should I pay for your staff's mistake. Never ordering again!

Had a great time tasting the extensive list of wines. The tasting was great and we enjoyed a glass in their relaxed environment. They have frequent live music and a beautiful outside area. Came away with a full case to enjoy!

I don't get to go to this winery often due to living about 7 hours away. But when I do stop, I make sure to load up! I absolutely LOVE all the wine options, and the atmosphere is very inviting. The staff is always friendly and we are greeted with a smile. I have let many girls from my work try my wine and they end up ordering online and having it shipped to them. 🖤

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the winery. I had bought a bottle of their wine at a wine store on a road trip a few years before and when we decided to take another road trip we decided to visit the winery. Their selections of wine is amazing and there is something for everyone no matter what you preference is. I like quite a few of their wines and my absolute favorite is the Blackberry Lemon! It is the perfect blend of sweet and tart, it isn't overly sweet but just sweet enough. I love it! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!

This winery is so good. We had always got lots of bottles when we made the trip to Kentucky from Ohio. We finally decided to try the shipping and it has been awesome! Now we can get it shipped to us in Ohio when we are running low. I haven’t tried all the wines that they have, but most of them. My favorite and the one I have gotten my friends here in Ohio hooked on is the Strawberry Jalapeño. I now have to get them hooked up with ordering their own so they will leave mine alone :)

I live in Nashville and ordered the cotton candy wine and it was delicious! I haven't tried the blackberry or watermelon wine I ordered yet, but I'm sure it'll be delicious! And I love the bottle my blackberry wine came in!

Absolutely phenomenal. The little mini 10 pack of bottles like tester bottles are just amazing. I give them out to my friends that have never tried Purple Toad and they are just so happy with them. They start to love Purple Toad as much as I do. I’ve been to the winery I take friends there, best little place to go. I love it.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a skull bottle online from Purple Toad Winery, initially intended as a unique vessel for a terrarium project. Admittedly, I'm not typically a wine enthusiast, but the inclusion of their 'Black and Bruised' wine with my purchase piqued my interest. To my surprise, the wine was exceptionally delicious, offering a delightful experience that has me reconsidering my stance on wine. It earns a solid 10/10 recommendation from me. Not to mention, the skull bottle has made for a fantastic terrarium, which is thriving. Purple Toad Winery has not only introduced me to a delightful wine but also added a unique touch to my home decor.

This winery is amazing! Wonderful staff and customers and a great variety of fruity wines to try. Tend to be on the sweet side but they also make non-fruity wine that is dry. Great tasting room and sitting areas, had a wonderful time here! Thank you.

I am very pleased with staff here...friendly, engaging ..I do like a number of their wines which I brought home 7 bottles. I like sweet and there's is just right for me. I ordered several mini packs and a white wine. Extremely pleased. The flavors are fun and taste great. They make great gifts. Very affordable. I keep several on hand for gift giving. They've really been a hit. ❤❤ I'll be ordering more soon!!

Had a great time stopped in from a suggestion from a friend and had a blast the Lady who helped us was so friendly and informative I didn't think I would had enjoyed myself as much as I did we came in 12/28/23 I hate I can't recall the super sweet and nice lady who help us I know she was family to the owners and just made the experience that much better

We received a bottle of the Black and Bruised as a gift. Not really wine drinkers. We opened it one night and immediately said we need more of this!! Very sweet wine and absolutely delicious. We found the website very easy to use and enjoyed the moderate prices and that there are specials, so we placed quite the hefty order (again, hefty for non wine drinkers). It was shipped quickly and great secure packaging! Looking forward to trying the other varieties!!

I found this for sale in a grocery store and it has become my favorite wine. I don't even bother drinking anything else! I started ordering online because they have so many flavors available. My favorite part is that the wine actually tastes like the name of the flavor. Chocolate Strawberry tastes like you really just ate a chocolate strawberry! Online orders have arrived extremely fast and are very well packaged so no chance of breaking. I would love to visit the winery if I'm ever in Kentucky!

Awesome little off the beaten path winery. Got to spend the afternoon with my wife, we enjoyed the wine sampling, which legitimately has something for everyone. The frozen strawberry lemonade wine smoothie was my absolute favorite. Also, must try to he habanero wine. My only complaint would be the hours, considering that we visited on a Friday afternoon and they were closed within about an hour of us arriving. Would be an awesome way to spend a whole Friday evening. Overall. Loved the experience.

I love the variety of wines. The delivery service was on point. It only toke 2 days to get my order. The prices are good also better than the local store. Keep up the good work and keep making more flavors. We need something with cherries, peach and mango...

Tried 8 wines, loved the new Moscato D'Asti and Angela's Black Cherry. Also enjoyed the Black Currant, Paducah Peach, and Midnight Blue. Interesting flavors were the Strawberry Jalapeno, and Blue Chocolate which tasted to me like it had a Peanut Butter after finish.

Its a park to technically get "outside" but nothing to write home about. Good spot to excercise. They are expanding things though so I will give 4 mercy stars.

Beautiful park in Paducah, KY offering a wide variety of activities and structural points of interest. A centrally located lake, multiple gazebos, tennis courts, and walking paths.

This is the most amazing and beautiful parks I have ever been to. It's very large with multiple playgrounds /equipment. It's got great swings especially for children with special needs. I didn't have to worry at all about my youngest daughter who is disabled and uses a wheelchair on and off. She had plenty of stuff to do along with my 10 Year old who is typical or "normal". There were plenty of trees for shade and although we came up just to watch the eclipse there even though it was crowded with cars there was PLENTY of room on the grassy areas to sit and watch. I absolutely love this park and I cannot wait to take a trip there again so we can enjoy the huge pond and feed the ducks and walk the big trail they have.

It's the season for babies! Give the birds their space so that they don't feel threatened. They've got little ones and you should keep your distance. Remain quiet and calm, and they will ignore you. Respect their personal space. 🖤

Me and my wife went a few day before Christmas and they put on a huge synchronized light show that you drive your vehicle through and the music on the radio goes along with the pattern of the lights! What an awesome experience, and fun for the whole family!

Found this park about a month ago since my son has 2 doctors in Paducah and we live in Oak Grove. My son is 3 and is in love with this park. So clean and love all the playgrounds and other things you can do there. He also loves to feed the ducks and geese by the pond. I take him each time we have to go over there for an appointment

Darling park with something for everyone. A sound garden, nature trails, and playgrounds await at this little oasis!

Awesome Park for Dogs and recreation activities ... My Babies and I love it ❤️

We stopped here while passing through, on a family road trip. This park was amazing! Fun jungle gym play sets for all ages. There also were a lot of geese that my child enjoyed watching. But what we liked best of all was the music garden, which had a bunch of instruments to play. Wish we had this park closer to us; we’d visit it every day!

We had an excellent afternoon checking out this park. It is massive and beautiful. Multiple playground areas for the kiddo. Ducks! A beautiful lake. A cool wooded area. Ducks! We brought some Dairy Queen over from across the street, which was super fun. We also saw ducks!

This is a good park to take your family to and just enjoy the day together. There are play areas for kids, basket ball court's, a skate park, and a pool. This park also has hiking trail that are great for running, bike riding, or walking your dog/dogs. If you are in the are I recommend stopping and checking this place out. This was a huge and beautiful park! There were so many people there but yet we were still able to set up some blankets and a picnic without having anyone too close to us. It was a beautiful place to watch the eclipse!!

It was just okay. I was kind of disappointed because I was expecting older quilts and some frames of older times to be on display. The oldest quilt dated back to 1980. They were more modern. Sewn with sewing machines, which is still a lot of work, but I look at a National Museum as having really old artifacts. Hand seen quilts along side of the newer ones. Frames that were used in my grandmothers and great grandmother's times and beyond. Things like that. Pictures from those eras. There were some nice quilts there. There was a Shakespeare section on display. I did like some of those as I do like some Shakespeare.

What an amazing place to see the craftsmanship of quilters. Some of the quilts were like paintings and each had a big story behind it. Absolutely loved the museum and displays Actually we went there an hour early and the staff was so courteous and let us in early. So very accommodating. A must see in Kentucky

Great place to visit even if quilting isn't your thing! This was actually my husband's idea because he had seen the sign for it as we were driving! When I looked up pictures it looked really neat so we made time to check it out! We are so glad we stopped because it was amazing! Lots of beautiful creations and bright colors! If you enjoy art in general, this is a great place to check out. We were in awe at the fine details and creativity in each quilt. They even had one made from wood in a seperate room! Very fascinating! They let you take pictures, just no flash photography!

Great exhibits with a fantastic staff. My wife and I love quilts and really enjoyed the museum. These quilts are from the late 1980's up.

I was expecting lots of bed quilts but was pleasantly surprised to see many works of art quilted. Stunning detail. If you scan the code below a short description, you’ll find more details.

It was very neat to see all the different styles and types of quilting. I never knew so much of this. And they had a special exhibit by Dr. Karen Nyberg, noted astronaut. I was impressed by the depth and breadth though admittedly I would have liked more historical quilts. Admission prices are fair for a museum. Would recommend.

Very unique museum with so many talented textile artists! I just happened to stop there on my way to Saint Louis, and it was a great road trip break. The admission fee as of April 2023 is 12 dollars.

Spectacular. You don't need to be into quilts to be blown away by this place. Might be one of the best art museums I have been in.This is worth going way out of your way for!I highly recommend going here.

Great museum with a wide variety of styles of quilts. Traditional, contemporary and just special!Worth the time and money!

As a quilter, I had looked forward to this visit to the National Quilt Museum for a long time. I enjoyed how knowledgeable the staff was about the different techniques quilters have used in the quilts. We stayed a couple of hours and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful works of art. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at The National Quilt Museum. My 7yr old daughter enjoyed it. So many amazing art pieces to view! Highly recommended!

The museum was filled with amazing quilt pieces with a variety of subjects and displaying many different techniques. It is visually appealing enough to keep our six year old engaged while we wandered the exhibitions.

Nice place . I thought there would be older quilts and history about them. Everything was new. Very beautiful though.

I was in town for work and decided to pop in to kill some time, and was SO pleasantly surprised.There were a few different riding exhibits. It was more like going to an art gallery where all the artists just happened to use this medium.

Amazing skill and artistry on rotating displays. Quilts are on caliber of a fine art museum. To fully appreciate plan to spend several hours. We have visited twice now and plan to make this a regular inclusion when passing thru KY. Not just for quilters!

What an awesome place. I brought my wife here because she is a quilter for our 10 year anniversary. All I can say is wow! How awesome is this place. Don't worry fellas they got places for us to sit down. But these quilts are a sight to see. Ty for helping make our trip awesome.

The quilts in this museum wrre mind blowing. They looked like paintings. I highly recommend this as a must stop.

Great place for a walk through. The gallery has a great flow to it for looking at all of the displays. Larger pieces had a QR code on the information placard that allows you to read more on the display.

I happened on the museum on the day of the total eclipse and they were hosting people on their lawn to view it. Their staff was enthusiastic to tell me about the museum, encouraged me to walk around, and shared some of their own passions with me. Everyone here was awesome. I loved hearing other crafty people talk about the techniques they noticed used in the various works, which were very impressive. I'll be back!

Amazing experience! I would encourage anyone to visit this museum. Had many quilts and an impressive collection of stained glass.

Nice historical area. Wonderful views. Great place to sit and enjoy the scenery. The murals are gorgeous. Lots of downtown shoos and eateries. We didn't stay more than a couple of hours, but could have easily stayed all day if we had the time.

Went there with my brother abs friend and had so much fun! So pretty and the art on the wall was so gorgeous! If you're nearby it's definitely worth a walk and visit!!

Love love this place! We had so much fun looking at the beautiful paintings and learning about some history of the beautiful town of Paducah. Highly recommend!!!

First of all, we were thankful that the weather was very nice. It was enjoyable to walk in the old town by the river, a truly peaceful, quiet, and beautiful place. Especially, the murals were amazing! It was also great to learn about American history. However, we arrived early in the morning and couldn't find any stores that were open.

Waterfront park in Paducah that offers great views of the Ohio river. Access is easy and there are some seating and parking areas.

On a pretty day, this is a great spot to sit on a park bench or picnic table and have lunch and enjoy the view. Two of the United State's most important rivers meet here. The Tennessee flows in to the Ohio right in view.

Great area of our country. Largest confluence of fresh water in the world. We're blessed!

This was really interesting to see. Especially since two boats were in dock that day. The town was interesting to as it is historical.

The murals are beautiful. Several blocks long. Interesting railroad history.

Great Town to walk around in.Learning about the history taking in the scenery is one of the best partsAnd do not forget to Eat locally grab a Israel or hot chocolate and Fresh stone fire bread.

Water is always peaceful. I'm thankful for being a river rat.

I really enjoyed this historic riverfront area of Kentucky. I have not ever seen a River this large before. Beautiful…… even though the weather was bad when we were there.

I have slowly made my way up from the south on the American queen and I always stop to see the art work along the way. It’s interesting to see history and learn about it. So if your here stop and look. There’s more further south on the river also

Enjoyed seeing and reading the story of each mural. We had a nice walk here after the eclipse.

Bike riding in Paducah. It's pretty down here... Something soothing about being near the river...

Beautiful view of the river! I first went on a Sunday night. There were so many people sitting there, that we were expecting that there was going to be a Fireworks show or show of some kind. Turns out that this is just a local hangout. But again, what a beautiful view!! You can see historical markers on the riverside and the Floodwall Murals on the opposite side of the floodwalls.

Nice spot to take in the river and get some good photos. It adds a nice element to walking around town. More information about the venue and events would be great. Bulletin boards? QR codes?

This is a beautiful area of New Orleans. You can walk a substantial part of the riverfront. There are the cruise ships and there are shops and dining along the way.
